Max Steel is a science fiction film by Stewart Hendler , which was released on October 14, 2016 in the US cinemas. The film is based on the animated series of the same name, which was produced between 2000 and 2001.
Teenage Max McGrath and his mother move back to the town of Copper Canyon, where Max’s father had worked as a scientist. Shortly after Max’s birth he had died in a mysterious accident. Strange things happen with Max at his new school. His body begins to produce energy surges that he can not control. The uncontrollable power eventually becomes so strong that its fellows distance itself from it. So is Sofia, the girl he is in love with. Soon, the energy his body produces hurts him so much that he almost dies. Steel, an alien cybernetic life form, saves him shortly before he loses consciousness. The two discover that they can control the energy when they are connected. Max and thatExtraterrestrial beings enter into a symbiosis and become superhero Max Steel. The two dissimilar friends soon begin to uncover the secrets surrounding the death of Max’s father, and together they must fight the mysterious forces that threaten the world.
